It's been an exciting start to Term 2 with the High Performance Sports squads beginning. Basketballers led by Martin Gibbs (High level Domestic and Representative Coach), two groups of Footballers led by Roger Grech (St Kilda Academy Coach) and the other by Dom Tyson (former Giants, North and Melbourne AFL player), along with our Soccer players led by Josh Kennedy (former Socceroo) are busy putting students in Years 5 to 8 through skill acquisition and development.

The Senior Football side played a match against a touring South Australian side in the first week of school as preparation for their own ACC season. The event was a resounding success and we look forward to developing our relationship with Trinity College in future years. It was great to get a win, but the real winner was watching the athletes chat and engage following the match over some food and drink, as relationships were formed between the students from both schools.

Each Monday, the week ahead will be posted so that parents and players have an idea of match times and venues. Students will always be dismissed from home venues when public transport is available. Away fixtures will see students transported to and from De La Salle College with an expected return time listed
